Spring Egg Hunt
Each year for more than two decades, Cabin John families with kids elementary school age and younger, head to the park by the one-lane bridge for the Cabin John Spring Egg Hunt, a fun free event that brings neighborhood families together. More than 500 plastic eggs filled with treats are scattered around the park. Usually some 50 egg hunters show up, basket in hand. The kids are released in waves to ensure that the little ones have a chance to gather a few eggs before the bigger kids join in.
