Block Coordinator Program
Started in late 2017, the block coordinator program serves to foster greater community connections by:
- Welcoming newcomers to Cabin John
- Sharing information about CJCA events and activities, including the Neighbor-2-Neighbor program;
- Relaying neighborhood concerns, news, and ideas back to the citizens association so they can be raised in the newsletter, at CJCA meetings or with elected officials as appropriate.
Cabin John has been divided into 31 “blocks” to give volunteer coordinators one to two dozen households in their area. We could always use more coordinators. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Stephanie Lai or Nancy Russell.
The list below shows the geographic area of each block, the current volunteer coordinators, their contact information, and the estimated number of houses in each block.
