Our annual CJCA Trivia Night returns on Saturday, January 27 at the Clara Barton Neighborhood Recreation Center starting at 6:30pm (sharp). This is a perfect way to spend a cold winter’s evening! Please note that this is an adults-only event–participants must be 21 years old or older.
This year, we will be introducing a new trivia caller, just to change things up a bit. Players can still count on roughly two and a half hours of challenging trivia, a grand prize for the winning team and bragging rights for the entire year.
The cost is $12 a player or $86 for a team of eight players. Proceeds from the night will support the community activities and projects of the Cabin John Citizens Association, which is hosting the evening.
As in previous years, we will also have a cash / Venmo bar for beer and wine. Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided. Teams are encouraged to bring their own picnic if they want to dine while they play and part of the fun every year is seeing the spreads that teams bring. (Though there is certainly no shame in bringing takeout from one of our local restaurants.)
There will be multiple rounds of questions, with a 30-minute half-time break to give folks an opportunity to visit with their neighbors.
The Trivia Night does sell out so make sure you don’t miss out. Form your team of
up to eight players, and go to Ticketleap.com and search for “Cabin John” to register. You can either purchase a table of up to eight players or buy up to four individual seats. We will partner those buying individual seats. And if you buy a table, don’t feel you need to fill all eight seats, but every additional person does help with trivia! Lastly, spectators are welcome but we request you purchase an individual ticket.
