Haunted House – October 27

You may not be spooked yet, but Halloween’s ominous aura is all around—dead leaves rattling in skeletal trees, the dark creeping further into the day. It all points to this year’s heart-thumping, skin-tingling Haunted House at the Clara Barton Community Center, set for Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Your path will be haunted by spectral entities from beyond the grave, witches will tell your fortune (this includes both children and adults), games will test your nerves and skills. All ages are welcome, free of charge, though children under 12 are most likely to be spellbound.

Little ones may want a hand to hold. There will be small gifts for the kids and delicious refreshments for all. Teenagers can earn SSL hours by pitching in behind the scenes and also by scaring everybody as zombies and ghouls.

The Haunted House will be conjured up for the 15th time by the Friends of the Clara Barton Community Center (FCBCC) together with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation. For more information, call the center at 240-777-4910.
