The 2018 Grateful Shred
NEW DATE: Saturday, Sept 22, between 9:00 a.m. and noon
Bring your unwanted papers to the Clara Barton Community Center and a crew of helping hands will meet your car to help unload. The shredded paper will be baled and taken to a recycling facility.
The truck can process the following: paper clips, staples, rubber bands, folders, binder clips, hanging folders (including their metal strips), and labels. It CANNOT take newspapers, cardboard, heavy plastic, heavy metals, 3-ring binders, boxes, trash, floppy disks, CDs, or X-rays.
You’ll be asked to donate $5.00 for each box of paper (or $3.00 for half box and $2.00 for a quarter box).
Important Note: All-Shred can shred home office papers, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, folders, binder clips, hanging folders (even with metal strips), and labels. They don’t do newspapers, 3-ring binders, cardboard, heavy plastic, heavy metals, boxes, trash, floppy disks, or CDs. You will need to take any cardboard boxes back with you.
The Grateful Shred is sponsored by the Friends of Clara Barton Community Center (FCBCC) and any proceeds will support programs at the Center. For more information, call 240-777-4910 or visit www. friendscbcc.org.
