Some 200 Cabin Johners, family and friends came out for the first annual Cabin John Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day. The weather was perfect for the roughly 2.5 mile run/walk that started at the park by the one-lane bridge, looped participants down MacArthur Blvd., along the canal and back up to the park. There was also a shorter tot trot comprised of several loops around the park. The overwhelming consensus is that this should be an annual event. The Cabin John Citizens Association would like to thank the many volunteers who
helped make this event possible, with a special shout out to CJCA Vice President of Activities Irena Bojanova who took the lead in organizing the trot.
