Come enjoy some holiday cheer with your friends and neighbors at the annual CJ Holiday Party. While the highlight of the evening is Santa, who comes down off his fire truck to visit with the kids and pass out treats, there is always plenty of other fun for attendees of all ages.
The free festivities include a sing-along, crafts, a selfie station, and a delicious assortment of food and drink, including sushi, subs, and sweets as well as pizza and veggie platters. The raffle to raise funds for SOME (So Others Might Eat) keeps getting bigger and better. Tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10. At last year’s event, 13 participants won prizes valued between $50 and $400.
Sponsored by the Cabin John Citizens Association, the party will be held at the Clara Barton Community Center from 5 pm to 7 pm on Dec. 10. We need help to make this party a success. To volunteer, please contact Susan Shipp at jsjshipp3@verizon.net or 301-320-5106.
