Bethesda Co-op To Hold May Fest on May 7

The Bethesda Co-op continues their 40th anniversary celebration with a May Fest, Saturday May 7th, 12-5, at the store and parking lot on Seven Locks Rd. “It’s our way of saying thanks to the community for all their support,” says General Manager Helen Atkocius. Founded in 1975, the co-op moved to Cabin John in the late 1980s.

In addition to beer, wine and food tastings, there will be a moon bounce and live music from Wicked Jezabel, an all-female band that covers retro rock and dance hits from the last five decades, as well as folk musicians Caolaidhe and Meghan, of the 19th Street Band.
