Celebrate the 4th of July at the Cabin John Parade

Grab a flag, wear your patriotic garb, decorate your bike or just come out and join your neighbors for the annual Cabin John parade. It’s a casual but festive way to mark the holiday. Everyone is welcome, including dogs. Small flags, pinwheels and hats will be provided by CJCA for the parade participants.

Gather at the Clara Barton Community Center at 11 a.m. on July 4. The parade route follows the bike path to the grassy area at the shopping center. Refreshments will be provided and the reading of passages from the Declaration of Independence to incite the crowd occur upon reaching the shopping center. The festivities will end around noon.

This year we will need help with each of the following aspects of the event (procuring and/or distributing the refreshments, distributing flags/pinwheels/hats, set up at the shopping center, clean up, etc.), so please let Burr Gray (burrgray@aol.com) know if you can help with any of those tasks.
